Wilshire Precision’s Complete Motor Division began building development motors for critical, high-reliability aerospace applications in 2004. Since that time, we have gone into production on a number of motors for Honeywell and Moog. Our focus going forward is to expand our production lines, and to use our nearly seventy years of manufacturing knowledge and expertise to provide complete and reliable motor building solutions for the aerospace industry.

Wilshire provides the following functions in the Fabrication and Assembly Cell: The Casting and Assembly of Rotors, Stators, Armature Sub-Assemblies including parts that require Balancing, Fluidized Bed Coating, Dry Lube, Phosphate Coating, as well as other finished processes.

Wilshire Precision offers precision machining services using state-of-the-art CNC manufacturing equipment, with maximum capacities of 12” diameter x 24” length for CNC turning and 50” x 20” x 20” xyz for CNC milling. Our modern facilities include an advanced MRP system, a cutting-edge quality assurance department, and nearly sixty years of hands-on manufacturing experience. Wilshire Precision’s Gear Manufacturing department offers CNC gear hobbing from 8 DP to 256 DP, and up to 10” diameter x 20” length of cut. Our CNC gear shaping capacity is from 8 DP to 256 DP, and up to 2.25” length of cut. Our capabilities include internal and external splines and gears, as well as straight bevel gears from 16 DP to 96 DP, Helical and Crown Splines and Gears.
